Protection Cream is water-based and is used to soften, nourish, and create a protective barrier on old and new Leather & Vinyl.

The Protection Cream helps the surface resist dirt, liquids, and wear, while also acting as a conditioner that moisturizes and saturates old, dry leather, and provides a protective barrier.

Over time, as a leather product is used, oil, sweat, dirt, and various types of chemicals and much else from human skin will slowly break down the leather and vinyl, causing it to discolor, dry out, and eventually crack. This damage can be seen on most leather products where human hands and head come into contact with the leather, for example, on an armrest and headrest of an armchair, on the collar of a leather jacket, on the steering wheel of a car, etc., where the damage initially appears as dark stains.

The Protection Cream forms a protective layer on the leather & vinyl and helps resist all staining from water- and oil-based liquids, significantly reducing the risk of the types of damage mentioned above occurring on leather and hide treated with the protection cream.

The protective barrier applied to the leather will also prevent "regular" dirt from penetrating the texture; the dirt stays on the surface, making the leather & vinyl much easier to clean and care for. A bonus is that marks from ballpoint pens and dye transfer from, for example, wet jeans and other clothes are protected from penetrating the protection cream.
